HairCare

Shampoos:
When I HAVE to shampoo I use Nexxus Botonoil, which I bought @ Wally World for about $10
I only shampoo once every few weeks depending on build-up.  I co-wash every few days since I have a TWA and water is really the best styling ingredient there is for upkeep, which brings me to my next category.

Co-Washing Conditioners:
I WAS using Nexxus Humectress, because it's a good conditioner and it's what I had at the time, but I found that it was hard to rinse out sometimes so that REALLY doesn't help.
I've been using Carol's Daughter Hair Milk Curl Perfecting Conditioner.  That doesn't stick so much, has pretty ok slip and leaves my hair soft and ready to move on.

Conditioner:
I use Aubrey Organics White Camelia Ultra Smoothing Conditioner
This product is great after shampoos to re-moisturize my hair, which is slightly course and very dry.
I've also used it as a deep conditioner, but I prefer my own treatment for that.

Leave In Conditioner:
Kinky Curly Knot Today - works great on both my and my daughter's hair as a leave-in detangler
Need a backup, but haven't found a go-to that I like as well.

Deep Conditioner:
I use a blended mix of treatments that I've found in various places.
Pretty much a protein/moisture mix that really leaves my hair feeling - fluffy for lack of a better term.
Do a search online for a Carmel Treatment and a Protein Treatment - this is a cross section of the two.
The ingredients are:
bananas - you can use baby food, or strain some real bananas which is what I did the 1st time
coconut milk - help define curls and I sometimes use it separately between DCs for that same reason
Extra Vigin Olive Oil (EVOO)
Apple Cider Vinegar - just a splash
Molasses
Honey
1 Egg
Mayonaise (full fat)
Yogurt (full fat)
Cornstarch - I just add this to regulate the consistency, otherwise the stuff runs all over the place

Styling:
Kinky Curly Curling Custard MIXED with Curls by Sister Smith Wet Set Hair Pudding - okay so you might think this is an overkill, but mixing these two works well with my hair because my hair REALLY likes the gel for curl definition, while I still get a more lasting softness with the cream so mixing the two is MY holy grail.  I get the best of both worlds here.
